Authentically You
Portrait Sessions
During a portrait session with me, my purpose is not just to take photos but to create art that tells your story in a way that feels easy, intentional, and deeply personal. Whether we are wandering along the open spaces outside Great Falls, tucked into the quieter backroads of Cascade, or surrounded by the rugged beauty of Wolf Creek, I let the land, the light, and the moment guide the story we are telling together. I often work with a long lens, creating space so you can relax and forget the camera is even there, allowing the environment and natural light to become part of the narrative. That space is where authenticity lives. Before we ever step in front of the camera, I take time to truly get to know you. Your interests, your story, the way you connect with the people or animals you love. That connection allows me to tailor each session so you feel comfortable, seen, and understood. I may begin with gentle direction or a few posed moments to help you settle in, but as the session unfolds, I rely on prompts, movement, touch, and connection to bring out what is real. Sometimes there is laughter, sometimes quiet, sometimes music playing softly in the background to set the mood. Those in-between moments are where your true personality shines.
I believe images should be felt, not just seen. The way wind moves through the grass, the closeness between two people, the emotion carried in a simple glance. These details give photographs their emotive voice and make them deeply relatable, because at our core, we all long for connection. To capture that honestly, I show up as my authentic self as well. I strive to be genuine, approachable, and present, building trust so you feel free to be exactly who you are in front of my lens. I’ve found many blessings in showing gratitude, being vulnerable and pouring out my light to others and into my work. Editing is where the story is gently refined. My artistic approach to post-processing enhances mood, light, and emotion, sometimes leaning into soft color and other times into classic black and white to create a timeless, soulful feel. Every image is finished with intention so it not only reflects what the moment looked like, but what it felt like. I currently offer Senior, Family, Engagement, Maternity, and Newborn portrait sessions, along with Western Living and Equine sessions throughout Great Falls, Cascade, Wolf Creek, and the surrounding Montana landscapes. For those wanting to capture their craft or elevate their brand with meaningful imagery, Collab Sessions are also available. Just be YOU
Senior Photography session
Bridger, Class of 2026
Bridger's session was such a treat to be able to photograph him at his ranch! He had such a great sense of humor and I was also so excited to see all his 4-H awards and FFA accolades. He did not disappoint! I loved wondering around his farm as we chased down the last sliver of light, seeing all his cute animals, and watching him in showmanship action by his wall of banners, buckles and awards. I felt honored to be able to document him in his element, doing what truly brings him joy.

Finnah, Class of 2026
Finnah's summer session was pure magic! We had the pleasure of heading to a ranch just a few minutes from Cascade that offered mountain views, beautiful fields, and of course this fisher-woman had to dip her toes into the Might Mo! She was such a sweet young lady and her heart was pure as the golden light we chased down. This session was filled with dancing, beautiful light, and Finnah's natural beauty! And that contagious smile says it all about her incredible, uplifting personality.

Kaden, Class of 2026
An old blue Ford you say and wherever the road may take us? Heck, yeah! Let's do this! This senior was open for anything and I LOVE that! His only requirement was getting some with his vintage treasure and of course his love of basketball. You can say we took a backroad or two and found some pretty epic backdrops for this handsome young man!

Family Photography Session
Skinner Family
You can say this session was Montana-dreamy magic! This styled shoot was part of a "Roadtrippers" photography retreat I attended last fall and I don't think they could have asked for more sweet family than this! Fall color, golden light, and all the wide-open space you could imagine for these kids to authentically be themselves. What a joy it was to capture this perfect little family surrounded by my photography friends and mentors. Dream come true!

Floerchinger Family
I have been photographing this ADORABLE family since their engagement session with me. Karsen & Drew wanted that iconic Montana countryside feel to capture their sweet little family so we headed to the mountains for the perfect ranch setting with mountain vistas galore! (Definitely one of my favorite places to shoot!) Their cutie patootie son, Wiley, was such a character playing cowboy and loving on his beloved doggie (yes, pets are ALWAYS welcome). And of course the love between these two was something out of the movie screen. My favorite part of my job is capturing these moments that pass by too fast and watching their family's grow.

Loecker Family
Another long-time family I've been photographing, but this session was a little more sentimental as mom's oldest was heading off to college in just a few days. These RAW moments are what I seek out during my client sessions...you know, the touch of dad's hand, the goofy moments when you're laughing at each other and the quiet admiration and unbreakable bond between parents and their children. This evening gave us the perfect glow lighting up the pink field of flowers below where this beautiful family danced and held each other tight. These are the moments that matter....and I'm here for them!

Our Love Story
Engagement photography session
Stephanie + Dylen
Woooohweeeh talk about a hunka-hunka burnin' love! Stephanie & Dylen lit up my frame with their beautiful, romantic love story. When my client tells me their pics brought tears to their eyes...I know I've done my job! This Montana ranch set the perfect backdrop for this cute cowboy + cowgirl engagement session. I was whisked away by their tender and playful love for each other. Sessions like these light a fire under me to keep sharing all those "once upon a time" stories with the world.

Emily + Lauren
She asked for some cute, fluffy cows for her and her fiancé's engagement session and of course I had to deliver! Mad props to both Emily and Lauren for getting up close and personal with this sweet highlanders. They really are gentle creatures...but, still those horns can be intimidating! I loved that these two were willing to try out a few of my favorite locations to make their country/rustic dreams come to life! And the cool part is this session was booked after purchasing one of my highlander canvases because she loved my photography style. And even cooler is that they got to take their engagement pics WITH the highlander cows that were in the photo they bought from me! Some things are just meant to be!

Lissy + Sawyer
The term "love birds" had to have been coined after these two. I mean, can they be ANY cuter together?! When I arrived at their ranch, they had a 4wheeler ready for me to hop on. So, I strapped on my camera bag and held on for dear life as our little trio literally went "over the river and through the woods" to climb up the steep mountainside and catch the setting sun painting the most beautiful valley below in a beautiful glowing pink cast. The joy and excitement of their young, flirtatious love kept me grinning and snapping until the sun fell beyond the horizon.

Momma to Be & Oh Baby
Maternity & Newborn Photography Sessions
Bridget's Baby Bump
Anytime I get to include horses in my photoshoots, I am over the moon excited! This beautiful momma wanted some shots of her, her beautiful daughter, this cute little bump and her other babies...her horses. Of course, I leaped at the opportunity and even got a few shots for my art collection (which this sweet momma has hanging in her home). The setting sun created the perfect glow on this already glowing, gorgeous momma. I was able to get a few silhouetted shots of her bump against the bright orange backdrop which made the shoot even more spectacular. It is such a joy to capture these priceless milestones for my clients, who often become my friends.

Michon's Baby Bump
The journey to becoming first time parents is often a mix of worry and excitement. These two seemed like they were ready to dive right in, but first we had to capture all their joy in this pretty pink field. Even the skies were showing off for this dreamy maternity session. Dad was all smiles and mom was beaming from ear to ear as they felt baby squiggle around mom's tummy. You know that song "your love is like a storybook story" from the Princess Bride? Yeah, well I wish I would have had that playing in the background because that's just what this session embodied. Motherhood is such a beautiful thing, especially for those just about to embark on such an amazing journey!

Baby Clancy
What a joy to photograph baby Clancy and her amazing mom and dad under the big skies and beautiful landscapes of Montana! I have no doubt she will be a great sidekick on the ranch and I'm sure many horsey rides are in this little cowgirl's future. This was a pretty special night with incredible friends in the most spectacular setting. We ventured to the part of the ranch where this beautiful couple fell in love and later got married. And now they have their sweet baby girl joining their crew and I am so grateful to have captured this precious time in their lives. I mean what's not to love when you put horses, wide open spaces, curious cows, fall color, and a love story for the ages into the frame?! Miss Clancy even got her first ride cozied up in daddy's hands as dusk settled in.
